The Local Government Act 1972, Section 137, allows expenditure, up to an annual limit, on anything which, in the opinion of the council, is in the interests of the parish, or part of it, or is in the interests of all or some of its inhabitants. 
 
The Parish Council will consider the award of grants each year to valid community groups.
